I'm aware Meta doesn't exactly have a shortage of bureaucrats, but here goes anyway.
Request at SRUC often include an account on Meta and I would like to be able to rename them locally myself without having to refer them to CHU. As a (newly-elected) steward I'm familiar with user renaming and rights changes and believe that I can be trusted not to break anything with the additional tools. I meet the requirements (6 months of adminship[1] and 150 logged actions[2]). Thanks for your consideration. Jafeluv 20:41, 21 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment - Users must always be deferred to CHU when renames at meta needs to be done, for transparency; as not all bureaucrats might be watching SRUC ;-) Cheers, -- Dferg ☎ talk 20:56, 21 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- I'll keep that in mind :P Jafeluv 21:00, 21 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
