Hello, I registered in 2015 and I have been active on Meta-Wiki since May of 2019. I'm active on Meta's SRUC and SRM pages. I've been translation, reverting the vandal edits, and adding the "Delete" template to spam or useless pages.

My main reason in wanting to be sysop is to combat the vandalism more effectively, deleting wrong translations and more contribute to the project in general. I have experience as sysop in other wikis. Thank you!

Could I ask why the low number of deletion requests? (5 since October and it is one of the reasons to request adminship). And how do you expect contribute to the project in general? I don't see any comment in discussions about policy, helping users or similar, only a few on stewards pages, where you can't do something with local adminship. As a sysop I can contribute more to the protection of frequently vandalized pages, delete spam and wrong translated pages as I mentioned above, block vandal users. Note that I have observed this type of activity of users or IP who often engage in vandalism. Although I rollback their edits, they take back my edits and continue to contribute.--Turkmen talk 20:51, 29 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
continue to contribute - I would not call those edits "contributions". Masum Reza📞 03:18, 30 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Question: 10 deleted contributions is a little too low. I know I supported you on most of your perm requests but this needs more explanation. Could you elaborate further on what you mean by frequently vandalized pages and how will you protect them (like what criterion). In addition, could you elaborate on how would you want to further contribute to meta, like do you have any experience in global AF or rather spam/title blacklists or COIbot reports. Thanks for volunteering. ----Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 10:14, 30 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, take a look these links (1, 2, 3, 4, 5), even l get back their edits, they continue to work. Only if I can implement direct blocking, I can quickly prevent this type of activity. In COIbot reports, l just don’t take part in. I am an active member here, so l thought I could help to patrolling project. I mean, l don’t try to be a admin in here, l just want to help. If I don't have enough practice, you can vote against me. --Turkmen talk 21:56, 30 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Turkmen: Yeah, I understand these difficulties of people just vandalizing and rollback will only get into unnecessary, anti-DENY style of feeding trolls, and what is needed is just a block. I will suggest if you need a quick block leave a message on RFH or go to stewards IRC channel. There will usually be someone to help although it's very frustrating at times where no one is around which is a common reason why people request for admin (you may wish to take a look at Vermont RFA). I will say this is a valid use of the sysop tools. However, successful candidates requesting for rights for such purposes typically offer to do more, like the rest I mentioned, and they are trusted to handle these sensitive functions well. I clearly know you are active here and glad you are willing to help. Per Matiia and Herbythyme, I feel this is too early. Give it a few more months of intense patrolling I will be glad to support you wholeheartedly. Take this as a neutral vote. All the best and happy holidays. --Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 06:42, 31 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Camouflaged Mirage: Thank you for comment. Happy holiday.--Turkmen talk 21:10, 31 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
