- Linked request is named as request (2); my first request was for a limited adminship, which was granted in February 2017.

I have now been a limited administrator, working in the RFL/Language Committee areas, since February 2017. I think I have generally been good about staying within my remit, which was limited to the above areas plus obvious vandalism. At this point, I'm active enough here, and understand well enough how things work here, to request to broaden my scope to a full adminship. I don't intend to change my work patterns here all that much, but this way if there is some admin request that is either on the boundaries of my remit or is otherwise non-controversial, I won't feel my hands are tied. - Support yes please. I was actually thinking about asking you to run for this, but I realized you would then be subject to the normal activity requirements rather than it being tied to your incubator adminship? Or maybe you'd lose your regular sysop access but retain your limited access if you went inactive? I dunno, these are just the bureaucratic things my brain considers. – Ajraddatz (talk) 14:28, 3 August 2018 (UTC)
- LOL. Hadn't thought of that. Let's just say that we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. (As things currently look, I'm not going to have a problem meeting the edit requirement, so I'll always at least be notified. And at present I have six deletions, a block and a page protection since April, not counting protecting and unprotecting the Simple English Wikipedia discussion a couple of times each to manage the workflow. If my remit is broadened, I don't think I'll have trouble with ten logged actions in six months.) Thanks for the kind words. StevenJ81 (talk) 15:49, 3 August 2018 (UTC)

- Done. You are now a regular local admin here and yes, you'll have to follow our normal activity requirements. No user right change will be done. Matiia (talk) 17:49, 10 August 2018 (UTC)
