Hi all. I would like to apply for sysop tools here on meta. As I am active in dealing with vandalism, spambots and cleaning up pages in ns:1198 {translation}, having the tools would be beneficial. I do admit that this is a little too quick considering that I just got TA rights a few days back but I believe that I can be of some use here. Support I have had the privilege of working closely with Minorax both on-wiki and on IRC. Minorax is an admin on MediaWiki and a small wiki - not huge accomplishments per say but demonstrates he has experience with the toolset and won't delete the main page. Minorax's recent work as a TA has demonstrated a clear use case for administrator permissions - in the last few days alone, Minorax has identified at least 200 translations/pages that were in fact not translations (see my logs for a good portion).
