Hi all. I'm currently a sysop on the English Wikipedia and on Commons, as well as an OTRS volunteer. I've recently become a bit more active at meta and would be delighted to help out more with the technical abilities that come with +sysop. One thing I've recently done was getting the ball rolling for the new Main Page. My plans would be to help with protected edit requests as well as help clean up the vandalism I come across. Comment Known and trusted user. However I can't really see where you have needed sysop help recently? Nothing tagged for deletion, not much vandalism dealt with that I can see.   - Hi. If you click the link on my contribs to look at my sandbox, you'll see it is actually the page which contains the history (attribution) for the main page. Also, I've noticed a few MediaWiki pages I would like to update and/or clean up. I suppose the only editprot (for a mediawiki page) I've posted was this, and it's about a month ago (feels more recent than that!). Thanks for your consideration, even if it means an oppose. Support Although I share the concerns raised by Herby, I think you have enough experience in editing protected pages (and hopefully also with templates as you'll need that here...).
