Hi - I'm Katherine, the new Fundraising Manager for Wikimedia UK. I'll need CentralNotice access for the run up to and during the 2012 Fundraiser from as soon as possible (so we can start to implement our banner testing) until early February 2013 (to allow us to to wash-up data analysis). I've already met with Peter Coombe (Wikimedia Community Fellow and production coordinator during this year's Fundraiser) and we're keen to get this up and running as soon as possible. Thanks Katherine Bavage (WMUK) (talk) 13:52, 14 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- general question: is this the first request of several to come from processing chapters and we will see request from france, german, switzerland as well or is there something special about the UK procedure? said that, i have no objection to the request as such, regards --Jan eissfeldt (talk) 14:10, 14 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Kai Nissen already has access for Wikimedia Germany. I haven't yet been in contact with France or Switzerland to discuss how they wish to work. Last year they had relatively few requests for CentralNotice changes so they all went through WMF staff, but it may be that they could benefit from direct access this time. - For Kai's RFA, see Meta:Requests for adminship/Kai Nissen (WMDE), which went through without any comments. As a confirmation here, that should say expiry January 31, 2013 not 2012. Thehelpfulone 12:23, 15 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
