Like some of the others on this page, I'd like to help with MetaProject to Overhaul Meta, as well as with the huge and poorly maintained Deleteme category. I've been an editor on en: since June 2003, and an administrator there since September 2004. I have 100 or so edits here on Meta since August 2003. I also have accounts on a bunch of other Wikimedia projects: la, fr, simple, en wiktionary, en wikinews, commons, and maybe one or two more. Here's a confirmation diff on en. Let me know if you have any questions. Andrevan 22:45, 7 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
- Support. If someone is maintaining this wiki without admin privileges, then it is a good idea to give to him admin privileges for maintaince. --Millosh 11:48, 8 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

- Just a note that "as well as with the huge and poorly maintained Deleteme category" is exactly what spooks me but it is in fact not poorly maintained - just because there are a lot of images there, for example, are still being hashed out a bit. - Well, if the images aren't really delete-me candidates, they don't belong in that category, which is for speedy deletions. From the delete tag: "If you disagree with its speedy deletion, remove the template and discuss it on its talk page." As part of maintaining the category, I would remove the tags from images that aren't clear delete-ables. Andrevan 21:10, 13 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
- By definition (according to the Deletion Policy), no image can be speedied on meta. I would like you to explain what you meant with "images that aren't clear delete-ables. --Aphaia 09:28, 1 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

OpposeUser appears to be rarely present on meta.wiki. --M/ 16:17, 23 April 2006 (UTC) - Furthermore, his candidacy is not valid since he doesn't have at the moment a valid and confirmated email address (see: Special:Emailuser/Andrevan).[reply]- Oops, sorry about that - there was an e-mail in there, but it's been there since before we had confirmation. I just confirmed it. Andrevan 19:13, 30 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
- I also had my e-mail on my user page until a few days ago, but I took it off to avoid spam. Andre (talk) 19:22, 30 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
