Current consensus
[edit]As of 19:17, 13 October 2008 (UTC), my reading of 'consensus' (how odd to use a raw number of 75%) is that the following users' rights will be removed:
- -sysop
-
- Dbl2010
- FrancoGG
- Fuzheado
- HappyDog
- Mindspillage
- Raul654
- -bureaucrat
-
- Shizhao
- -sysop, -bureaucrat
- none
I thought I'd throw this up here as a guide when the time comes (by my reckoning, at or after 21:47 UTC on 21 October 2008)
I guess that, given that my name was up for recall, it might be a COI to make the rights changes, though I'm not sure how many active bureaucrats there are who haven't commented on the discussions (which is IMO more of a COI), so... Eurgh. :-)

- In most cases, it doesn't really matter who presses the button in the end. Just as long as it's done right. I haven't looked at the votes really since I commented, so don't know if there's any that are especially close. Obvious ones can be closed straightaway. Majorly talk 19:30, 13 October 2008 (UTC)
- Just noting that I haven't commented at all, since I'm one of the ones being decided upon in this confirmation. Also, after this, are we moving to only two confirmations per year? Kylu 18:58, 20 October 2008 (UTC)

[edit]Dbl2010rights removed- FrancoGG
Fuzheadorights removed 100% supportHappyDogrights removed 100% support- Mindspillage
Raul654rights removed 100% supportShizhaoOnly Bureaucrat rights removed, 80% support
that just leaves FrancoGG who is at 71% and Mindspillage who is at 58% With Mindspillage, 58% is definitely a failed consensus, but bearing in mind that she is a Board of trustees and that people who supported her rights to be kept did make some good valid points.
FrancoGG is at 71% and generally we give users around these percentages the benefit of the doubt and let them continue as admins, thus its up to the other crats t odecide their fate :) ..--Cometstyles 00:14, 22 October 2008 (UTC)
- Since Franco has been generally active as of late, deleting pages and such, it would make no sense to remove admin rights from him. He's trustworthy and active, so doesn't meet any kind of criteria for removal. Taking them away will just be an inconvenience to him and other admins.
- 58% is low; the arguments to keep weren't based on our admin policy. Board members don't generally have admin rights on Meta. Mindspillage is the only Board member with adminship here. There's no real reason to keep admin rights here, because she does not meet admin activity criteria. Majorly talk 00:23, 22 October 2008 (UTC)
- yep, sadly, I agree with Majorly--Nick1915 - all you want 00:39, 22 October 2008 (UTC)
- I see it the same way. FrancoGG is at 71 but well, that's not so bad. 75% is a quite high barrier anyway (but it's ok for Meta), but if someone has shown trustworthyness and just fell below that barrier due to a slight lack of activity we should not be more pope-like than the pope (as we say in German). ;) For Mindspillage, I myself abstained from voting, because for me both sides pro and contra made valid points. But since 58% is not in any case close to the necessary 75 I would also say - sadly enough - that the result is remove. --Thogo (talk) 16:30, 22 October 2008 (UTC)
- Well, for me, FrancoGG continue sysop, and Mindspillage, has removed your rights. As Majorly and Thogo says. Alex Pereira falaê 20:34, 22 October 2008 (UTC)

- Ok, I will see this as a majority and do as suggested, i.e Mindspillage's rights will be removed and FrancoGG will keep his and continue as an admin. Lets not drag this any further and deal with it, people have more important things to do :) ..--Cometstyles 04:46, 23 October 2008 (UTC)
Sorry I missed this while it was being chatted about, but endorse the results anyway. ++Lar: t/c 22:10, 28 October 2008 (UTC)
