Updating the tagline

[edit]

After some discussion, I'd like to get some opinions about changing the tagline to "From Meta, a wiki for coordinating the Wikimedia Foundation projects." Go.  — Mike.lifeguard | @en.wb 09:23, 21 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

"the" wiki? Other than that it work for me. The current one is a little unambitious :). Cheers --Herby talk thyme 09:31, 21 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
Yes, the wiki then.  — Mike.lifeguard | @en.wb 19:34, 21 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Fine with me, but isn't the second "the" unnecessary? Why not "From Meta, the wiki for coordinating Wikimedia Foundation projects"? WJBscribe (talk) 01:31, 3 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
Done  — Mike.lifeguard | talk 18:29, 18 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
I've just switched it around a little. It is essentially the same, but the sentence is effectively the other way around. Much less awkward. —Anonymous DissidentTalk 15:22, 19 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
