Maithili Wikimedians User Group/Events/International Women's Day 2025 Oratory Contest

WOMEN'S DAY 2025 EVENT
Maithili Wikimedians organized an Inter-College Oratory Contest to promote awareness about Wikipedia and Wikimedia projects among college students, especially focusing on the importance of these resources in academics. The contest is part of the International Women's Day event and the theme of the contest was Importance of Wikipedia in Academics. We have reached to eight colleges of Rajbiraj and it was great to see that five out of the eight colleges responded positively and sent their top women students to participate in this contest. This not only highlights the growing interest in Wikimedia projects but also emphasizes the importance of empowering women in academics and technology.
