Welcome to January’s issue of the Let’s Connect monthly newsletter. Happy New Year to all Let’s Connect participants and welcome to 2025. January has been a month for reflection and a renewed sense of purpose for the work we do at Let’s Connect.

December was an outreach month for us at Let’s Connect and we are excited to have reached out to other sister projects in the Wikimedia movement. We are curious to know if you are active in sister projects outside of Wikipedia. Please let us know, we would love to hear your story!

  • Fellow Wikimedians, the deadline for submitting expressions of interest for Wikimania 2027 is next week, Monday, January 27, 2025 at 23:59 AoE (UTC-12). The Wikimania conference committee is inviting regional or linguistic community groups to submit proposals to host the future Wikimania.
