Kurdish Wikimedians User Group/ckb-wiktionary

After the success of Kurdish Kurmanji Wiktionary which reached 738.533 words (in Aug 2022), Kurdish Wikimedians User Group planned to resume unfinished works to lunch ckb (Central Kurdish) language of Wiktionary. Our user group start to promote and team-up in ckb Wikipedia and social medias to gain more participators. Therefore we reached more than 2500 words (in the middle of Sept 2022). The initial idea of this project is gaining the domain of ckb.wiktionary.org. This project started in May 2022 by user:Aram.

Launched

In March 2023, the project was successful after receiving the Wiktionary domain for Kurdish Sorani. The news got a Kurdish media attention.
