  • Drafting the Karavali Wikimedians Annual Report

Community members were encouraged to actively explore opportunities for rapid grants. Such grants can support smaller-scale projects that align with Wikimedia movement. Members were reminded of the positive impact of previous grant-supported projects and were encouraged to apply and execute projects in a structured and efficient manner.
  • Ongoing Tulu-Kannada Wiki Loves Folklore Campaign
The ongoing Wiki Loves Folklore campaign was discussed, with members being praised for their valuable contributions to the writing competition and their efforts in uploading photographs to Wikimedia Commons. As part of the campaign, special support for a Wikimedia Commons workshop and fieldwork will be provided, under the leadership of Bharathesha Alasandemajalu.
  • Wikisource Conference
Mr. Santhosh Notagara has been selected to attend the Wikisource Conference. The community congratulated him for this achievement and applauded his efforts in representing the Karavali Wikimedians at the conference in Bali, Indonesia.
  • Proposal for Tulu Encyclopedia Project
Bharathesha Alasandemajalu proposed a new project to create a physical Tulu Encyclopedia, addressing the lack of such a resource for the Tulu language. This encyclopedia will be especially useful for students from grades 1 to 10 and will provide a valuable reference for Tulu enthusiasts. The project aims to include 2,000 to 3,000 topics across 2,000+ pages, making it a historic milestone for Tulu language preservation. Bharathesha sought the community's opinion and received a positive response. Members agreed to proceed with further steps to bring this project to fruition
