Deliberations

  • Took stock of the current status of the project Offline Wikipedia to schools. So far the progress has been somewhat slow. Nevertheless about 25% of needed articles have come.
  • Discussed about Movement Strategy/Wikimedia 2030 and participation of Karavali Wikimedians User Group at Wikimedia Summit 2020, Berlin, Germany.
    • Pvanaja U B detailed about previous participation in strategy meetings held at Bengaluru, Delhi and also in the Wikimedia Summit 2019 at Berlin, Germany.
    • Pvanaja U B detailed about previous participation in strategy meetings in the Wikimedia Summit 2019 at Berlin, Germany, and providing inputs to the working documents in the areas of Product & Technology and Diversity.
    • Went through the Recommendations by various working groups briefly.
  • It was decided that Kishore Kumar Rai will be the representative of Karavali Wikimedians User Group at the Wikimedia Summit 2020, Berlin, Germany.
  • He will be contributing on the discussions about Community health and Capacity Building.
  • He will participate in the appropriate discussions about the strategy tracks.
