Outcome

[edit]

Successfully concluded Wiki Loves Folklore (WLF) 2023 in Mangalore with a get-together held at one of the famous heritage villages of Mangaluru, Pilikula Guttuhouse Mudushedde Mangaluru. The location was well-chosen for folklore and other activities. We were honored to have two special guests who shared their thoughts on feminism and folklore during the event.

Our eventful day comprised of two enriching sessions. The first session entailed a visit to the Heritage Village and Artisan Village, where we had the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the rich cultural heritage and witness the skilled craftsmanship of the local artisans. The second session was equally inspiring as we had the privilege of engaging in a captivating conversation with two distinguished women personalities from Mangalore - Dr. Rohini B M and Dr. Jyothi Chelyar. Their valuable insights and perspectives on various topics were truly enlightening and added immense value to our event.
