Inari Saami Wikimedians User Group/Events/Helsinki March 2025
The second edit-a-thon for 2025 has been organized together with Wikimedia Finland and the Inari Saami Language Association (Anarâškielâ servi) both onsite in Helsinki and online:
- When: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. March 15–16, 2025
- Where: Helsinki (the 3rd floor of Building 03 at Maria01, Lapinlahdenkatu 16, 00180 Helsinki) and online
Partcipation
There is no requirement for participants to come for the entire day or for both days. Join us for the workshop when you have time, even if it is only for an hour; we welcome all sorts of participation. You do not need to know how to write articles or use Wikipedia to participate, it is enough that you are interested. We are happy to guide you through the process in Inari Sámi and Finnish and even in other languages should the need arise.
Even though the main idea of the edit-a-thon is to work on Wikipedia articles, if you do not want to do so, but prefer to work on technical matters, we have a guru trio onsite who can help and advise you.
Onsite participation
The onsite portion of the edit-a-thon will be held on the 3rd floor of Building 03 of the Maria 01 startup campus in the Coworking 1 space. The address is Lapinlahdenkatu 16, 00180 Helsinki. We are still not sure if the front door will be locked or not. If you cannot get in the building, please call or send a message to the organizers and we will come open the door.
Online participation
