IRC/Group Contacts/Meetings/August 2009
Details
[edit]- The meeting was held
- on Monday August 3, 2009
- at 1900 UTC
- in #wikimedia-irc-meetingsconnect.
We plan to use moderation (+m) at times during the meeting. Nothing has been set in stone and we'll likely see how things go. However, the preliminary plan is for the group contacts to introduce a topic, make their opening remarks (while the channel is +m) and then allow the channel to present comments or questions on the issue. Moderation will be reintroduced as needed. We will repeat this process for each topic being discussed. We expect a significant number of users to participate in the meeting and moderation will help to ensure that the meeting remains organized as well as to make sure that everybody's comments are seen and responded to without getting lost in the other chat.
Logs of the meeting are posted at /Log and minutes are at /Minutes.

Previously proposed dates
[edit]Collapsed for readability |
---|
The contacts have suggested the following dates for meetings, all at 1900Z as our experience suggests this is the time internationally most suited to holding IRC-based meetings (alternatives to this welcome). It would be helpful if you could sign below all of the meeting times below you could comfortably (or perhaps moderately uncomfortably) attend, to allow us to select the most appropriate date.
