Hi, could you elaborate a bit what makes up the significance of this meeting in the context of your activities? Could you try to define, what outcome you expect? I.e. what has been accomplished if your mission will have been successful? It would be great if you could be specific enough to make it actually verifiable. Hi Johannes. The meeting is the Latin American meeting of museum curators, archivists and librarians, three of which cover aspects GLAM initiatives. In Mexico, we have agreements with major museums like the Museum of Fine Arts Palace, the Museo Universitario del Chopo and Casa-Estudio Diego Rivera, but we need to reach more cultural institutions. I think that this meeting is possible that attend authorities of my country with which could reach agreements after listening experiences in other countries. I hope to raise awareness of the importance of the type of partnerships that we have done in Wikimedia Mexico and that will be an example for other countries dare to link the cultural institutions they represent, with chapters and Wikimedia communities. The indicator of success will be new contacts for collaboration in Mexico and other Latin American countries that could be worked by ourselves and our fellows of the Iberocoop initiative. --Wotancito (talk) 18:01, 11 September 2012 (UTC)

Hi Winifred. I would like to thank the Foundation on behalf of WMAR for enabling Carmen to attend the Latin American Summit of Librarians, Archivists and Museologists here in Buenos Aires. We are sure that previous GLAM experiences in México will be of great interest to the conference's target attendees, and we are confident that our participation will give us a full new series of interesting contacts and insights to pursue GLAM initiatives.
