In the meantime, I think it is great that you were able to share the Philippines experience with attendees, and that you've been inspired to host something similar back home. :-) By the way, do you have an approximate idea of the number of attendees at your session? Hi Siko. I will admit, there were only 2-3 actual attendees who sat through the entire session, but there were a number of passers-by and perhaps a number of people online as well. I also talked about the presentation's contents with attendees as well both prior to and after the session. I am not a believer in self-promoting my talks during conferences, as I think people should be drawn to it on its own merit and not based on my encouragement, but I think this is part of the learning experience as well. :) (In addition, the fact that OSB is a U.S.-centric conference which is currently internationalizing itself should mean that these growing pains are not completely unexpected.) --Sky Harbor ^(talk) 00:01, 19 July 2013 (UTC)

Thanks for sharing those learnings -- it sounds like you learned a lot from attending the conference, and I know how challenging engaging with attendees in a new setting can be sometimes!
