Is reducing the concentration of grants the hands of few recurring grantees within the scope of this sprint? --Nemo 09:16, 25 April 2014 (UTC)
- If what you mean is are we trying to make it easier for more people to get involved, and spread the word to others who aren't yet involved, then yes :) Got ideas? Siko (WMF) (talk) 20:53, 25 April 2014 (UTC)
- That's one of the ways to reach the goal but not the only one. For instance, capping the amount of grants an individual can reach is an alternative. I can't make specific proposals, I've not read that much of the past grants. --Nemo 16:40, 27 April 2014 (UTC)
- My preference is to bring in more new folks rather than keeping recurring people away. If we ever get to the point that we're using the entire budget allotted for the program, that would justify saying no to some good requests to make room for other good requests, but at this point of low volume our aim is to increase the overall pool of grantees and become more open/welcoming rather than more limiting.
