- NOTE: This request is one of five funded through an experimental fiscal sponsorship of a closely aligned partner organization, as solicited by Creative Commons staff for their 2015 Global Summit event. Though TPS served as a provisional vehicle for this sponsorship, the usual TPS selection procedures did not apply. Instead, as part of the terms of the fiscal sponsorship, Creative Commons requested that WMF guarantee approval of requests that would be submitted by a list of five applicants independently selected by Creative Commons. WMF was provided with the list of applicants for pre-screening and approval. These terms allowed Creative Commons autonomy to select the applicants they considered most high-value for their event and to assure those applicants of financial aid. Consequently, the associated requests should be considered part of a fiscal sponsorship experiment not subject to the typical TPS review process. They may not necessarily reflect the usual priorities and criteria of the TPS program.
