Additional comments from the Committee: CEE continues to be an impactful and successful project for content creation and engagement of various language communities. Applicants have considered best ways to sustain the project and ways to mitigate risks (e.g. with regards to concurrent contests and burnout). Iterative low-risk project looking to continue its previous success. However with respect to its gender gap strategy, would like to know how the team plans to increase participation as they have the same goals from last year (and did not meet them then) This proposal is not innovative, but it is very feasible. Experienced team with great coordinating skills. Seems a good sign that budget ask is actually lower than previous years (as local communities take on more budgetary responsibility) I see they have an experienced leadership so I believe that they can execute this proposal well. Good engagement practices and relationships with participating communities but team should consider how best to engage women and other gender minorities in order to reach their goal It is a quite practical proposal. But my concern is the team plan to use $ 9,622 budgets for Prizes, and that's too much I think. I have seen the WAM team only use less money than this proposal to send the postcard as a prize to contributors. And their project still works well. I can understand there is the difference between both, but according to this, I believe that to reduce the budgets for Prizes is necessary. I hope this team can think about this possibility.

The committee is pleased to continue supporting CEE Spring on the basis of the the past success of the event, the team’s ability to manage and execute the project, and also on the team’s proactive approach in identifying aspects of risks and considering how best to minimize or prevent those risks.
