Hello Красный, and thanks for this proposal for the user group's second annual gathering. Overall, I think the proposal is in good shape. Here are my questions and comments:

• I think this is my first time seeing "new Commons categories" as a measured outcome from an activity, and I'm curious about this. What kind categories do you expect to make and why are they important?

  Vologda Oblast does not have a lot of categories that a common for another regions. Proper categorizing on Commons is important part of our work every time we upload some photographs from our events, and this time, for example, even some standart categories like "aerial photographs of Districtname" don't exist yet. By creating this categories we'll not only categorize our uploads properly, but also give better categories to files that are already uploaded. And, from my perspective, this gives a boost to a number of photographs in some topic by creating an "empty room" for them. Красный^{wanna talk?} 19:49, 10 January 2022 (UTC)

• In terms of your goals, you've named that you want to train community members on using the drone. Would it make sense to add a metric reporting the number of people trained on drone usage as a result of your activities?

• Thanks very much for the budget. In your budget, there's a request for a laptop for a specific community member. To explain this, you wrote

  Our one of the most active photographers...doesn't have any personal computer, so her photos need to be proceed by some other person or using someone's else computer, what takes a lot of time. We need to give her the laptop to ensure rapid publishing of her photos

I can appreciate that the photographer's situation is not convenient, but we're generally not able to fund equipment purchases for personal use. Like the drone, equipment purchases must generally be maintained by an affiliate or trusted individual able to share it, and should be accompanied with a plan and method for sharing that equipment with the community. I am therefore requesting that this item be removed from the current budget, but that this item could be requested in a separate grant proposal. In that proposal, we would want to understand what sort of general impact that equipment would have for the community over a longer-term period, not just for this single event.

Okay, I'll exclude this item from a request and we'll discuss it with UG later to find another ways of filling the need. Красный^{wanna talk?} 19:49, 10 January 2022 (UTC)
