Suggestions - Content for report[edit]

Dear @Tofeiku, thank you for sharing about your work through the report. I have some follow-up questions. As this is the second edition of WikiKata (1st edition: here), could you highlight some of the learnings that you incorporated from your first event? Would it be possible to also include the link to the tool you used to track your metrics? And share your experience with reaching out to partners and the contribution from these collaborations (if relevant)? Looking forward to reading your report. Useful to also review the content again, as there may be some missing information to fill in. Thank you. JChen (WMF) (talk) 07:31, 14 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

From the first edition, I learnt that it is best to stick with a selected number of languages for the competition as it would be easier to verify the entries added. The languages in focus for this second edition were Iban, Kadazandusun and Semai. However, there are many improvements need to be made for the next edition. So far, we just add the entries by participants into ms:wikt:Wiktionary:WikiKata 2021/Peserta and Fountain tool was used as well but there was some problems in creating more tools for respective language as requested by the judges. In the future, we suggest to create the tools early for better use. For partners, the previous partner suggested me to reach to this number of people to help the competition like by promoting and judging. Tofeiku (talk) 06:29, 7 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
