[edit]Hello CelStrzel and Barbska, thanks for submitting this complete final report. We are excited about the general outcomes of your editathons and thank you for all the efforts you’ve put into organizing this series of events. I have reviewed the report and have the following comments and questions:
- Congratulations on receiving the nomination for WARTO cultural award and for your other achievements! We are really proud of your collective!
- What tools did you use to track the contributions of editors? Could you please provide the links to these pages which document the participants and their contributions?
- We appreciate the detailed learning section and what you have learned during the events.
- Thanks also for the colorful and nice images you shared from your events.
- Did you share the printing materials and guides under CC license? Could you please upload them to Wikimedia Commons and provide links for them?
Thanks again for your contributions to Wikimedia projects! I have accepted the final report and expense documents for the project. This grant is now complete. Best regards, DSaroyan (WMF) (talk) 09:56, 27 January 2021 (UTC)
Response
[edit]Hi DSaroyan (WMF), thanks for your appreciation.
- For tracking the contributions of editors we tried to use oureachdashboard, where we had course Caryatid_Collective_2020. However, we quickly realized that this tool has significant disadvantages and overestimates the numbers. For this reason we just simlpy used attendance lists in out Wikiproject. Each event had a separate attendee list and a list of articles added. Moreover, we have created an additional hidden category for our articles Kategoria:Kolektyw Kariatyda artykuły 2020. Articles that we edit on Polish Wikipedia also have templates {{Wikipedia: GLAM / Karyatyda Collective / info}} on the discussion page.
- We shared our printing materials in Wikimedia Commons Category:Materiały_własne_Kolektywu_Kariatyda. Here we have stickers, pins, posters, postcards, card, leaflets, roll-up, etc. We will be able to reused our graphics in the future. Out of the budget, we painted a caryatid figurine.
- Additionally, we shared printed educational material from Wikimedia Commons. The first brochure discussed what the public domain is in cultural institutions. The second brochure had educational content on crative commons licenses. This allowed caryatids and novices to contact cultural institutions, artists or heirs and upload resources to wikimedia commons according to the rules of open licenses.
