Hello RebeccaRwanda, thank you for the clarification around the user group and the in-person event. We have further follow up questions and comments:
  1. Per the Rapid Grant guidelines, cash prizes for contest or other competition winners are not permitted. Instead, Wikimedia merchandize, certificates, gift coupons, books, and other tokens can be awarded to recognize achievements for winners, jury for their contributions. Please update the budget for Jury Gifts to reflect the fact that you do not intend to offer cash prizes.
  2. Can you explain the specifics for 600USD budget for the Online opening and closing ceremony. How many individuals will be covered under this budget? How much is the expected average cost of internet data per individual? Are you expecting different individuals than the ceremony participants who would apply for internet support for Individual photo upload?
  3. We need more clarification about the request for updating the project page link in the proposal or are you referring to the user group link or something else?>> Is there any on-wiki page created for Wiki Loves Monuments in Rwanda on Commons or another Wikimedia Project for letting the community and photographers participate in the event. If yes, then please link the page in the proposal.

Looking forward to your responses. Regards. RSharma (WMF) (talk) 13:08, 29 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hi RSharma (WMF) & Morgan (WMF),

Following up on our email conversation, we would like to get an extension of the project upload deadline from 5th Nov to 17th Nov due to the delay in receiving the funding and this extension will help us to reach out many more sites and meet our target.
