Hello Zblace, thank you for submitting this Rapid Grant proposal. We have reviewed your proposal and have the following follow up questions and comments:

  1. Can you clarify the budget details for the 400 USD budget each for Line Item #3,#4,#5 for preparation and production of informative online materials and event for librarians and museum staff and post-production, publishing and dissemination of recorded video. Can you also clarify more about the 300 USD budget each for Line Item #1 and #5 which states fee for producing promotional material for outreach work to GLAM professionals and fee for organization of workshop material with #WikiLovesLibraries.
  2. You mentioned in the application there would be at least one practical online and if possible offline workshop organized with documentation on Meta and your team would be connecting to high quality content organizations, their producers, publishers and promoters, to start using open licences, tools and FLOSS based web services and foster interactive participation of their existing audience or new users. Can you explain more about the scope and the deliverables for this project and how they would be connected and in-line with/impact the Wikimedia Projects?
  3. If you are organizing in-person events or activities, then you will need to complete the steps outlined on the Risk Assessment protocol related to COVID-19. When you have completed these steps, please provide a link to your completed copy of the risk assessment tool below: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1B96k62CHCFcFvoLVo7Fy0oxH751hY6sV3mVKWgArJR4/edit?usp=sharing

Looking forward to your response. Best regards RSharma (WMF) (talk) 12:44, 1 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for feedback and here are the answers in opposite order for simplicity:
3. We gave up on offline workshop as situation in Croatia did not improve yet.
2. We would outreach to first individually and gather key GLAM organizations in Croatia for informative session on Open GLAM concepts (get them to commit to use CreativeCommons and publish online), Wikimedia ecosystem to consider future collaborations and support for Wikimedians (opening Wikimedians in residence positions in future - which never happened in Croatia before) and Wikimedia related actions (especially those targeting their existing interest).
1. I will do this directly in the application proposal.

Hello Zblace, Thank you for sharing additional context around the proposal and the budget. We are happy to approve your grant request. There are couple of things we would like to clarify and acknowledge. We currently support services of Graphic designers for promotion or advertizing an event or activity and Translation services for project materials that cannot be supported through Meta:Babylon and although we do not currently support videgraphy services in Rapid grants program, we will make video editing services exception to your proposal. Additionally, we do not support compensation for Paid editing, which includes uploading materials on Wikimedia projects. If you need more clarification around this, please feel free to reach out. Thank you for your contributions to the movement. Regards RSharma (WMF) (talk) 13:59, 13 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
