Feedback For Improvement

Thank you for applying for the Movement charter Ambassadors package. The team has reviewed and now sharing this feedback to strengthen the proposal.

• The translation piece of the project is clear enough. It is good to see that the team has been deliberate about selecting a list of pages to be translated for this community. It will however be good to understand why the team has selected these pages now, beyond the key pages that might be most useful for this package (the 3 chapters and the the main Movement Charter page).
• In relation to the feedback on the pages selected for translation is the timelines stated. Please note that the 18 is the deadline for sharing the feedback from these conversations with committee, to ensure that Arabic community’s thoughts are reflected. Perhaps the team could consider narrowing the scope for the translations in order to achieve this primary goal.
• The team includes a budget line item for research. Please note that research is not envisaged for this package especially considering the tight timelines.

Thank you for reviewing our proposal and sharing feedback.

• The principal pages related to this package (Preamble, Values & Principles, Roles & Responsibilities, Content, etc.) is already translated into Arabic, We are looking into this work to make more important pages related to MC available for Arabic readers around the world. We have asked experienced, well-known people in our community regarding our work, and the Arab community needing for more engagement with Movement strategy Charter creating and editing.

• We are working hard to complete the work on time, and in good quality. As you can see in our schedule, we will be doing several tasks together. We have edited the grant proposal according to your suggestion.

• Research: there may be a misunderstanding regarding our "Research" work. In this grant, we will not conduct research but we will collect and analyze the responses of the in-person meetings, then summarize them in a document without conducting a research study in this regard. On the other hand, we will also work on the preparation of the one-to-one meeting and the community meeting in order to ensure the participation of the Arabic community and to achieve more equity in making this charter.
• We appreciate your suggestion and have published our grant proposal in the Arabic village pump, which can be found with the title: MC Ambassadors grant.
