Offa is one of the most populated local government in Nigeria with diversified culture and language . Wikimedia Awareness in Offa will go a long way to document these cultural and language values that are currently missing on Wikipedia.

Hello Mijesty, thanks for applying for this grant request. We reviewed and approved the grant in the amount of 941,270 NGN(2,050 USD).

• We recognize the project and community impact and we thank you for your work on the project proposal. However, we are partially funding this grant request and recommending a reduced scope for the project by decreasing the number of participants from 50 to 30, and a reduced budget. The budget elements and costs should be adjusted accordingly.
• We request that you reach out and partner with Wikimedia Nigeria User Group when implementing the project given that some of the project goals are aligned with the annual plan goals of Wikimedia Nigeria User Group. We request this to ensure collaboration and coordination in the community and to avoid duplications of efforts.
