Endorsements[edit]

  1. Strong support Strong support I believe that this project will not only improve Wikidata contributions from Ghana, but will also raise Wikidata awareness in the country. Because the institution is distinct, hosting such events will aid in the movement's expansion into its setting. —Sunkanmi12✉️ 10:32, 4 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Comments from the MEA regional funds staff[edit]

Hello Elkay20, thanks for submitting your grant request. We are glad to hear that you plan to run Wikimedia activities in the Islamic University College. We have a few questions and requests to process the request.

  • Roles and responsibilities of all team members should be clarified in question 5.
  • Who will be the experienced Wikimedians supporting the events? (Update question 5)
  • How do you plan to structure the events? There will be any difference in these events? (Update question 3)
  • What would be the content focus? (Update question 3)

We request that you revise your budget: (update the budget file on Fluxx)

  • Please adjust the internet expenses with actual internet expenses in Ghana.
  • We will either support Giftcards, or swag for participants.
  • Allowance for Travelling Participants should be revised.
  • Please prepare one event banner and printings and replicate it for the rest of events.
  • We will not support $1,345.19 for Travel and Data Allowance for LUCG team Members for the 4 events.
  • We will not be able to move forward with this proposal if the budget is not revised.

Please revise the metrics sections: (update questions 16 & 17)

  • We think that the number of editors / number of contributions alignment is low.

Please make indicated changes on Fluxx. Please log in to the Grantee Portal and you will see your application in the 'Proposals need attention' section. Please edit and submit your application by June 24, 2022. Let us know if you have any questions. Best regards, DSaroyan (WMF) (talk) 07:31, 17 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
