Having participated in the pilot implementation of this innovative initiative in Nigeria and the potential it offers libraries in developing a collaborative linked database in the country is worth supporting. Hence, I am endorsing this proposal to extend training to other librarians in Portharcourt, Rivers State. Atibrarian (talk) 19:43, 2 April 2024 (UTC)

Wikimedia Deutschland's Data Partnership team strongly supports this proposal.
- This is an innovative and meaningful project that will effectively help build capacity in the use of Wikibase among librarians and will potentially result to more open and linked data.
- The project facilitates previous work (https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikibase_in_Nigerian_Libraries/Phase_Two_-_Pilot_Project) and further builds on the train-the-trainer model. As such, it has great potential for capacity building and sustainable growth of the Wikibase Ecosystem.
- The applicants are very experienced and can succesfully see the project to fruition.
- WMDE Data Partnership team's doors are open to provide support where required.
