Hi Lomoraronald, thank you for submitting your grant application. After reviewing your grant proposal, we have some questions to learn more about the project and planned activities.

  • Do you plan to work with school students? In that case a Youth Safety policy is required. Please add it to your response to question 10.
  • Are you in touch with the Wikimedia Foundation Education team? Please update question 5.
  • Do you have any members in the team who have experience with Wikipedia & Education? Please update question 5.
  • Do you have someone in the team or an external advisor who could help you with resolving potential technical issues on Wikimedia projects, like IP block? Please update question 5.
  • Do you have a specific plan/program on how you will be working to create and run a Wikiclub? Please update question 3.
  • The proposed budget is not aligned with activities. Please offer a detailed budget where all expenses and connection to the activities are clear.

Please make indicated changes on Fluxx. Please log in to the Grantee Portal and you will see your application in the 'Proposals need attention' section. Please edit and re-submit your application by August 14, 2022. Let us know if you need more time to respond to our questions.

Yes I plan to work with students in the University of Juba, and i will add the Youth safety Policy.

I am in touch with Ruby from the EduWiki team but not for the subject of this project.

We shall be in partnership with Wikimedia Community User Group Uganda who have an experienced team of Wikipedia in education, but yes we have a team.

yes, with the aid of our partnerhip we have Alice form the Wikimedia community in Uganda who provide technical help during our sessions.
Do you have a specific plan/program on how you will be working to create and run a Wikiclub? Please update question 3.
Yes!
After our 3 Months engagement program with the school, and after the creation of the wikiclub, we have a follow up program entailed to help the clubs growth and continuity
