[edit]It doesn't look as though any online materials have come out of this project. Will it have sustained impact? Tony (talk) 08:32, 28 October 2015 (UTC)
- We cut down this grant from the full program to a pilot program. We have a first draft of the materials but they would require a second larger-scale grant to complete. The Ada Initiative has shut down but Valerie Aurora plans to create a grant application for a larger-scale program on an individual basis and is working with various folks to do that, no sooner than Q1 2016.

[edit]Hello, Valerie & Ada Initiative Team:
Thank you for this report. We have received your receipts, the report is accepted, and we have a few follow up questions for you.
We appreciated the survey metrics that showed improvements in attitudes and skills resulting from this workshop, as well as the helpful quotes that illustrated how participants benefited from the program. It seems like you got survey responses from about 11 of 23 attendees. When doing future workshops, are there things you think you would do to improve the response rates to the survey? We did find the survey data very helpful in understanding the results.
Beyond the survey you conducted following the workshop, are there any other plans to follow up with workshop participants and better understand how they are applying these skills and changes in attitude? Some specific quotes or case studies that follow up the workshop might be really useful in illustrating the value of this work.
In the section about impact you mention, "this workshop format could be used for other administrator training programs." Are you able to share any materials from the workshop or planning process that others could use to plan similar activities?
I think a general breakdown of how the workshop fee was used could help organizers running similar programs. Do you know about how much time the organizing team spent on the following activities?
- Creating the application form
- Screening applications
- Assisting with recruiting attendees
- Teaching the workshop
- Analyzing the survey results after the workshop
Cheers and many thanks for your responses and your work in this area. Winifred Olliff (WMF Program Officer) talk 19:43, 28 December 2015 (UTC)
