Consider an Individual Engagement Grant!

[edit]

Hi, Jensbest, I want to remind you that the deadline for the current open call for Individual Engagement Grant proposals is September 29. I wanted to ask if you had considered moving this idea into a request for an Individual Engagement Grant. The idea is fairly well-developed, and only needs a little more work. Specifically, you could start to engage some communities you hope to improve to get their feedback with your project, and it looks like you could add some volunteers who might be interested in your project (see User talk:Jensbest#Volonteer for your Wikipedia improving Project Wiki goes Goethe and de:Benutzer Diskussion:Jensbest#Dein Projektantrag Wiki Goes Goethe). Once that has been completed, go the main page of the idea, and look for the collapsible section, "Expand your idea". All you need to do is follow the instructions there to apply. Let me know if you need any help making your grant request. Thanks, I JethroBT (WMF) (talk) 23:20, 24 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

Thank you, @I JethroBT (WMF): for keeping me in the loop. I had a break in my Wikipedia activities, but now I am back. I have to talk to the Goethe Institut first to see how their plans developed. Then I can re-start the idea for the next run of e.g. Individual Engagement Grant. Best regards, --Jensbest (talk) 13:27, 13 November 2015 (UTC)Reply
@Jensbest: Welcome back! That sounds like a good plan. Once you've had a chance to talk things over with the Goethe Institut, let me know if you want to arrange some time to talk about getting your grant proposal prepared. I'm happy to answer any questions you might have. Take care, I JethroBT (WMF) (talk) 19:08, 13 November 2015 (UTC)Reply
