[edit]@Stefanjud: Hi Stefan-- I wanted to know a little more about this. On English Wikipedia, it's normal for there to be an explanation or rationale for deletion left on the page creator's talk page, and usually a brief explanation on the deleted page itself through the deletion log (in red). Is this not done typically on German Wikipedia? Are there a few examples you can show where no explanation was left for deletion? I JethroBT (WMF) (talk) 13:34, 22 July 2018 (UTC)
- I see the same issue. That´s why I rarely edit on German pages. Sometimes there´s obviously wrong content that cites dubious pages impossible to remove permanently because my edit is undone within 5 min. Also the other way around, when you want to add cited material, it´s said it were unnecessary. So I stick to the English language community. But how to resolve this? - @Liechtenstein96:--Then please remove en-wiki as a target-wiki.I can vouch for the fact that reason-less deletions are practically non-existent over en-wiki.Winged Blades of Godric (talk) 07:49, 23 July 2018 (UTC)
