Hi Biplab Anand thanks for your report on your work to promote of Maithili Wikipedia. Here are my comments and questions:

• Thank you so much for capturing so much of your work in photography-- it's great to see your engagement with your local community, students, and posters, together with the exciting rickshaw announcement you prepared for this project. There have been many ideas floated for rickshaw-related projects across Wikimedia projects, but I've only been able to see a few actually implemented along with meaningful community engagement. Congratulations on coordinating all of this work together in the project. I am confident this project will serve as a good example of practices that are successful in bringing in new readers into our projects.
• The analysis you've prepared -- evaluating project siteviews to mai.wikipedia.org before and during/after the project -- also makes it clear that your work was effective in introducing people to Maithili Wikipedia and encouraging them to continue to use it beyond your initial engagement.
• Regarding the media coverage, do you have any links or photos of media coverage that you can provide?
• I have followed up with you over e-mail regarding some questions about your budget and financial documentation. When you're able, please reply, and then I'll be able to formally accept this report.
• Finally, regarding the underspend of 10,355 NPR, can this underspend be reallocated to another grant project? Otherwise, these funds will need to be returned to the Wikimedia Foundation, but I understand there may be some difficulties in doing this from India. Please let me know what your plans.

Thanks a lot I JethroBT (WMF) for your questions and comments. I am sorry for the delayed response. I am really happy doing this project. The involvement is really good from all social groups. There is few media coverage about the event but it is published on local newspaper- I'll send you the details in e-mail. I've sent the expenses documents you over e-mail. @Biplab Anand: Hi Biplab, what Rapid Grant proposal will the remaining funds be reallocated to? @Biplab Anand: I just e-mailed you about this, but I wanted to follow-up here as well-- we cannot approve reallocation to different grantees. Will you be a grantee on this proposal, or is there a different proposal you want to reallocate the funds to? If not, can you return the funds to the Wikimedia Foundation?
