Wikimedians of Bashkortostan User Group is organizing Wiki seminar in YanganTau Resort. I am planning to visit it and speak about my own Wikipedia and Wikimedia experience. I plan to prepare presentations about Wikiexpeditions (together with User:visem), Wiki Loves Earth and PR-communications. Also I plan to participate in translation workshop and other events and to promote future wiki-cooperation between Ukrainian and Bashkir sides.

Goal and expected impact

I hope that we will receive all planned goals and my knowledge will be useful for Bashkir coleagues. I plan to continue my work together with Bashkir wiki-comunity in the future and expect that cooperation will be more fruitful.

Budget breakdown

Round trip from Kyiv to Ufa will cost USD 400. Residence: RUR 640 per night (1 person in 4-person room, this is the minimal price) x 10 nights = RUR 6400 = 85 USD Food: RUR 1000 for 1 day x 10 days = RUR 10000 = 135 USD

Other instructions

Due to political situation, currently there is no fligts between Ukraine and Russia (there are only buses and trains, and the border is opened). But situation is changing rapidly. So, as for today I plan to flight from nearest countries (from Chișinău, Moldova, or from Minsk, Belarus), because fligts from Kyiv to Ufa now expensive and not comfortable (with many changes, even in far countries).

So, I need plain tickets with round trip Chișinău/Minsk-Ufa (via Moscow) and tickets for bus/train from Kyiv to Chișinău (Minsk).

I need Wikimedia Foundation to book air tickets for me. Other variants of flights even via other countries will be also suitable. I just need a possibility to take luggage (up to 23 kg). Tickets for transportation from Kyiv to the airport city by bus or by train can be bought by WMF or reimbursed after the trip.

To minimize possible risks, I kindly ask you to buy me tickets one week before the trip. I prefer to trip together with user:visem, who will also travel from Kyiv.

Yangantau resort provides 25 places for seminar participants. And unfortunatly cannot provide sponsorship for more participants. That is why I need to pay for accomodation. But as I speak to organizers, if there is vacant place, I will not need to pay. I kindly ask you to send funds for my accomodation to me or to organizers before the event.

•  Support Jbuket has made a lot of useful work after participating in Wiki-Sabantuy 2015. Also he made one of the best input during Bashkortostan thematic week in Ukrainian Wikipedia. All the time he promotes Wiki-events in mass-media and takes part in different Wiki-projects.
