Staffing Plan

Contractor 1: Noircir/Ennegreciendo 2 co-directors Program Manager (July 2021 - June 2020)

The duties of the co-directs, that have been in the role since the creation in 2018 will be as follows in this grant cycle are:

• Manage Noircir/Ennegreciendo programs;
• Coordinate editathons (wikimedia, wikimedia commons, eand editathon reporting including maintenance of on-wiki page;
• Coordinate pedagogical projects;
• Pursue and maintain new institutional/GLAM/Grassroots partnerships;
• Support the communication specialist managing social media accounts;
• Support the communication specialist drafting monthly newsletter;
• Where needed, represent the organization in public appearances and conferences;
• Draft grant applications and reports.

Staff time: The weekly work time for the 2 co-directors will be 52 hours/month.

Contractor 2: Lead organizer (July 2021 - June 2020)

The duties of the lead organizer, who reports to the co-directors will be as follows in this grant cycle:

• Coordinate editathons and editathon reporting including maintenance of on-wiki page;
• Coordinate pedagogical projects;

Contractor 3: Accounting (July 2021 - June 2020)

Noircir/Ennegreciendo Wikipedia will outsource de accounting in order to have a clear accounting report with the detail of the spendings.

Contractor 4: Legacy regional leader Caribbean (July 2021 - June 2020)

In 2020, Noircir/Ennegreciendo Wikipedia gave basic Wikimedian trainings to 18 afrolatin women living in Abya Yala. In this cycle we believe it is important to train better regional coordinators and follow up/mentor their progress. To reach that program goal, Noircir/Ennegreciendo Wikipedia has to have the economic means to cover the internet expenditure of these participants/social groups. Indeed, Noircir/Ennegreciendo focuses on, for example, african colombian descendant, Cuban women artists and honduran garifuna population. This leader will be in charge of:

• Developing and strengthening the afrolatin Noircir/Ennegreciendo Caribbean community
• Creating GLAM collaborations in the region
• Meeting calls with the co-directors

Contractor 5: Communication specialist (July 2021 - 2020)

This person will be in charge of all the Noircir/Ennegreciendo Wikipedia communication.

• Social media management (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)
• Institutional video making for the user group
• Newsletter writing and publication
• Communication with journalists interested in Noircir/Ennegreciendo Wikipedia
• Updating the website
• Press review maintenance

The working hours charge of the communication specialist is 20 hours per month.
