Wikimania:
- During the hackathon, many relations were renewed with developers.
- SDC was a topic of discussion: a workaround was developed to allow uploading without the added burden of SDC. In the longer run SDC is probably going to provide a benefit, but it doesn't seem to be ready yet for WLM.
- Developed a new landing page template (thanks Martin Kraft!) for national competitions, that is mobile friendly and responsive.
- Talked with a number of national organizers to coordinate their efforts, make sure that everything fits together.
- New banner design that works better for mobile use and is better suited for tracking effectiveness.
- During the in-person meeting we discussed, among others, how to facilitate better landing pages and banners for the national competition, we went through all participating national competitions and what kind of support they would potentially need. We agreed to take the effort to run surveys again this year, both for national organizers and participants. Jury.
