Learning
[edit]Projects do not always go according to plan. Sharing what you learned can help you and others plan similar projects in the future. Help the movement learn from your experience by answering the following questions:
- What worked well?
- This is the second time that we will be organzing a radio show. Therefore, we have gathered enough experience for the project.
- The relationship between the User Group and the partner (WFM 97.1) really worked well
- Our invitees had been very responsive and are always timely at the venue
- The timely receipt of fund from WMF
- What did not work so well?
We could not secure fund for the organizing of our workshop.
- What would you do differently next time?
Now we have fund for our monthly meetups. So, we will use our meetups to train listeners and participants who are willing to learn and contribute to Wikimedia projects

- Apology, our team forgot to report the discrepancy on the amount credited to us by the foundation ( $1862.56) for this project against ($1973) the actual amount spent and also the budgeted amount. . ( We will send detail to rapid grant unit by mail)
Therefore, the foundation is to reimburse us with the sum of $111.29 being shortfall on actual amount spent on the project.
Rollover of the project
[edit]Please note that current grant covered only 13 episodes which was concluded three weeks ago. Being a contract with a corporate entity, we can not opt out without an express notice to the organization. More so, the two parties ( WUGN and WFM91.7) to the contract are very happy and willing to continue to carry on with the project. Except that we have been financing the project from our personal fund. We therefore request for the approval for the roll over of the the project. Olaniyan Olushola (talk) 14:53, 10 May 2018 (UTC).
