Goals

Did you meet your goals? Are you happy with how the project went?

This meeting was a great opportunity for all wikimedia TN user group to discuss the future of the community in Tunisia. As part of this meeting, we have prepared a program for the group in Tunisia for the next year. In addition, the meeting included training sessions about how to apply for a grant and how to use Evaluation tools and strategies workshops, and a brainstorming for new ideas and projects.

A lot of decisions were made as part of this meeting. The main decisions are:

• At the end of every year, WTNUG has to organize an annual meeting to evaluate the activities and prepare the program of the following year;
• Postpone the discussion of becoming a chapter for the next two years;
• WTNUG will host the next editions of WikiIndaba (2018), Wikiarabia (2019) and WikiConvention (2020);
• A program of activity for this year was made

Socialize with community members	Old and new members get to know each other and exchange information	At the beginning of the conference, all old members have presented themselves and their experiences with Wikimedia/Wikipedia, and the new members presented their expectations of attending. This helped connecting members that have similar interests during coffee breaks and free time.
Organize a community projects	A lot of ideas were suggested, in this link you will find all activities suggested by members. WTNUG members expressed their willing to realize these activities.	The plan of activities for this year was made during the brainstorming session in which every participant expressed his/her ideas.
Recruit new editors	10 new members were invited to the meetup. They showed up a motivated to be part of the movement and adhere to WTNUG activities.
Increase skills for existing editors	The new members get to increase their skills/knowledge	We have organised three training sessions: 1) Presentation of Wikidata & GLAM 2) How to apply for a grant 3) How to use Evaluation tools
Preparing activities for the year 2017	As part of a brainstorming a program of activity was made for this year link

Learning

Projects do not always go according to plan. Sharing what you learned can help you and others plan similar projects in the future. Help the movement learn from your experience by answering the following questions:

• What worked well?

This meeting was a great opportunity to all members to know each other and to discuss the program and the future of the movement in Tunisia. It has been touched all points planned in the program

• What did not work so well?

The duration of the event was so short, we think to increase the duration of the meeting to three days for the next meeting so we can discuss more activities

• What would you do differently next time?

The next time we will change the date to the end of the year, and we will invite more new members to increase activities in all Tunisia.
