Learning

[edit]

Projects do not always go according to plan. Sharing what you learned can help you and others plan similar projects in the future. Help the movement learn from your experience by answering the following questions:

  • What worked well?
We were able to travel to one of the National parks in Tanzania (Nyerere National park) which is listed as one of the areas in danger. This was one of the good experiences and the fact that we were able to capture more photos from there.

Renting of tools such as Good camera and having experienced photogrpahers helped to get good photos.

  • What did not work so well?
Financial resources were not adequate to involve more photographers and visit more protected areas for photo hunt.
Women turn out not so good despite several announcements for them to participate.

The lack of Female photographers itself in our community is a challenge

  • What would you do differently next time?

:Continue to put some effort into raising awareness on the importance of Women participation on Photo related projects

Application of community support fund would help to involve more participants (especially Women)
