Learning
[edit]Projects do not always go according to plan. Sharing what you learned can help you and others plan similar projects in the future. Help the movement learn from your experience by answering the following questions:
- What worked well?
- Hashemite University
We sent the mail stamps to the Armenians and we had a very good collaboration, and another collaboration will be conducted after Wikimania. We printed everything we asked for.
- Alexandria University
First time to perform Wikipedia activity in Medical collage of Alexandria University. Also start a partnership for the first time with Alexandria Students' Scientific Association (ASSA) (local group of International Federation of Medical Students' Associations).
- What did not work so well?
- Hashemite University
The printing company delayed in handing us the prints that we asked for, we chose this company because it’s the closest one to our universities. We printed in another company and everything went well after.
We still need the projector for the Wikipedia corner in the Hashemite University, it will facilitate presenting slides and help us to do our work in engaging more and more students.
- Alexandria University
The printing company delayed in handing us the prints that we asked for, due to lack of required material, but now all certificates are printed and will be delivered to student on first semester.
- What would you do differently next time?
- Hashemite University
Next time, we will be asking more than one printing company for their prices and the priority will be for the one which hands us the prints on time without delay.
- Alexandria University
Next time, we will be choose a better time that will fits all students. Also try to prepare certificates before holding the workshop.
