Samatics/The Nigerian Pidgin Project
The Nigerian pidgin is a language with more than 47,500,000 speakers. We have reactivated the language on incubator and our activity there is encouraging. We plan to make this language wikipedia a success in the shortest possible time by contributing to it. I am using this to recruit, train and equip more editors on contributing to it on incubator as this will help to activate the community of Nigerian Pidgin editors .

Examples of places where this can be done include community discussion pages, affiliate discussion pages, or relevant project talk pages.
You may also provide information about external social media channels you may be using.

I have informed the WUGN here and the proposed Nigerian Pidgin Wikimedians User Group here

3. How will you let participants know about the edit-a-thon? In what ways will you be communicating with them?

I will inform them through facebook, instagram and whatsapp status. I will also encourage my friends to post on the social media walls.

For example: User:I JethroBT

I will engage them by adding them to a whatAapp group created for Nigerian pidgin Wikipedia project where I will be addressing their questions. I will also organize free zoom training to further train and show them their progress.
