Improving of 200 + articles Improved 812 wikimedia commons structured data We were looking at improving 200 + project but at the end of the project we completed 812 structured data on commons
We were looking at having 15 participant We had 20 volunteers for the event We had 20 volunteers attend for the training and edit-a-thon instead of the 15 stated

What worked well was the training, giving volunteers the necessary skills to structure data on commons
  • What did not work so well?
Our awareness creation was low even though we had the numbers we wanted, we need more
  • What would you do differently next time?
The next time I will create more awareness to engage more volunteers, our structured awareness didn't seem to sink down well.

  • Food - GHC 3000 for 2 events
  • Transportation - GHC 1000 for team of 3
  • Internet - GHC 4800 for 3 months of the project (We will also support volunteers who difficulties with their internet)
  • Miscellaneous/Contigency - GHC 300 (unforeseen circumstances)
  • Total = GHC 9,100
