[edit]

Tell us how you'll carry out your project. Be sure to answer the following questions:

1. What is your promotion plan?

We are planning on carrying out 4 social events in collaboration with 'Baal Sanjaal', 'Mahila Sahitya Parishad' and 'Saptari Saamudayik Vikas Kendra'. We will create a group of female participants with maximum capacity of 10 women in each group. We will deliver an orientation class, promotional Wikipedia videos and presentation to brainstorm the participants to learn the basics of Wikipedia. Our main aim is to promote the Wikipedia and its sister project to each separate group of Women participants.

2. How will you let your community know about the promotion campaign?

Village pump and Participants will be notified through social media about the events.

3.Do you have any experience in promoting Wikimedia projects either online or offline?

Yes, I have lead women oriented projects online and offline.

4. What is your post-promotion plan?
What do you plan to do after your campaign ends?

I'll try to keep in touch with the participants through social media and in-person meetups.

5. Are you running any in-person events or activities? If so, you will need to complete the steps outlined on the Risk Assessment protocol related to COVID-19. When you have completed these steps, please provide a link to your completed copy of the risk assessment tool below:

Indeed, our event is offline but we will only give access to 10 participants at each events.

6. Is there anything else you want to tell us about this project?

I am hoping to engage more interesting women contributors.

Resources

[edit]

What resources do you have? Include information on who is organizing the project, what they will do, and if you will receive support from anywhere else (in-kind donations or additional funding).

I am depending on my volunteers team whom I worked before and they are skillful in organizing events.

What resources do you need? For your funding request, list bullet points for each expense and include a total amount.

  1. Food and Beverages = $300 x 4 events = $1200 [Depends on participants]
  2. Event space = $140 [I'll try to use the above mentioned organization training space if it will be not occupied]
  3. Communication expenses + Internet data [If needed during event] = $90
  4. Local transportation expenses = $70
  5. Souvenirs (Wikimedia branded cups & plates) = $200

Total = USD 1700
