Learning

[edit]

Projects do not always go according to plan. Sharing what you learned can help you and others plan similar projects in the future. Help the movement learn from your experience by answering the following questions:

  • What worked well?

We have successfully been able to engage new participants and the photo hunting was challenging but we managed during COVID 19 pandemic challenges as no festival organized yet.

  • What did not work so well?

The organization of online workshops was successful but we have not been able to collaborate with the institutions in charge of folklore promotion due their engagements in other ongoing activities.

  • What would you do differently next time?

We will make sure there is a strong awareness not only in new editors but also among the whole Wikimedia Rwanda community in order to get more information on folklore in Rwanda
