Target outcome Achieved outcome Explanation
Number of participants 20 8 The number wasn't reached i believe People had number of challenges in terms of getting access to internet data. Others called me personally to help them
Number of recruit editors 5 2 The fact that it was fulltime online due to COVID-19 a number of people where not sitting where when it came to have internet to attend a webinar so I didn't high exportations
Number of photos used on Wikimedia projects 300 25 I projected at least we have 300 images to added to Wikipedia articles but that wasn't the case I don't have an explanation for this cause this target was reached after everyone agreed
Number of Wikimedia pages created or improve with photos 200 25 The stats are high but they didn't do the right thing most of them where mixing the edits that is the normal edits with the ones for the competition.

Learning

[edit]

Projects do not always go according to plan. Sharing what you learned can help you and others plan similar projects in the future. Help the movement learn from your experience by answering the following questions:

  • What worked well?
    • Well I believe the publicity and lesson on how the editing has to be done was okay the fact that I created Two tutorial videos which covered the both mobile editing and pc editing.
  • What did not work so well?
    • Every fell apart the fact this was 100% online we had 3 webinars but a number kept complaining about not having good internet connection.
  • What would you do differently next time?
    • With this event I wanted to see how many people are serious with that said I came to a conclusion that we need some more awareness so I believe that I we the little awareness that we made we might not reached the right who are up for the task to do voluntary work most of them think as if this is paid work. Going forward we need more people that are willing to do the work freely.
