[edit]Tell us how you'll carry out your project. Be sure to answer the following questions:
1. Are you doing one editathon or training or a series of editathons or trainings?
- We would have a series of edit-a-thon and training for participant whereby contributions would be made on local articles by creating wikidata items for existing and non-existing wikipedia articles. This project is also to celebrate wikidata birthday and also contribute to the increase of open linked structured data. We would be having the event at Icode space ,Takoradi (Ghana)
2. How will you let your community know about the event? Please paste links below to where relevant communities have been notified of your proposal, and to any other relevant community discussions.

3. Do you have experienced Wikimedia editors to lead the event?
- Yes we do have an experience wikimedian who we are inviting to guide us have a successful project [Jwale2,Leooney,Agbleyjill]
4. Do participants have the equipment or skills needed to participate and contribute high quality content? If not, how will you support them?
- The event would be in person for 3 days and virtual activities to the end of the year. Participant who are not able to bring along their laptops during our 3 day physical
- meetups would share with their colleague under covid-19 strict guideline, we will also provide participant with data scholarships to the end of the year.
5. How will you engage participants after the event(s)?
- Participant would be engaged after the training through our social media channel, so that if they are having any challenges we would be able to support them.
6. Are you running any in-person events or activities? If so, you will need to complete the steps outlined on the Risk Assessment protocol related to COVID-19. When you have completed these steps, please provide a link to your completed copy of the risk assessment tool below:

Impact
[edit]How will you know if the project is successful and you've met your goals? Please include the following targets:
- Number of events - 6
- Number of participants - 20

- Number of wikidata items created - at least 200
- Number of repeat participants (for projects that include a series of events) - 20
