  • Several new editors were recruited.
  • Existing editors were engaged and contributed to Wikimedia commons and the incubator
  • Participants and the community at large awareness was created about human rights, environmental health and the Wikimedia movement and its activities.

Learning

[edit]
Dagbani Wikimedians group at Mole National Park

Projects do not always go according to plan. Sharing what you learned can help you and others plan similar projects in the future. Help the movement learn from your experience by answering the following questions:

  • What worked well?

Creating/improving articles that were human rights related fast tracked our work since we had such resources in the English version. It was also interesting and fun embarking on photo walks relating to land scape/nature.

  • What did not work so well?

It was difficult and almost impossible for participants to upload photos they had taken because of bad internet during that particular period.

  • What would you do differently next time?

We will make sure we get in place variety of networks to supplement one another incase of unstable internet network.
